A time schedule service (alias task Scheduler) is an important constituent of a system for the regular execution of recurring tasks. Z-Cron is a task planner with whom you have carried out on your PC time controlled tasks (tasks) automatically. Z-Cron is a central coordinating point for the time control or automation of software. Next to the time controlled start of applications the program contains numerous tools, the automatic and time controlled system administration make easier which.

Z-Cron Time Schedule Service
Z-Cron is a
Task Scheduler that enables you to carry
out tasks on your PC automatically and time-controlled.
Z-Cron is a central control centre
for scheduling and automation of software. Beside
the launching of applications at defined points
in time, Z-Cron also provides numerous tools
which help to make the automatic and scheduled
system administration much easier.
With Z-Cron scheduler you can start and/or quit
programs (*.exe, *.com, *.bat) under Windows
98/2000/2003/XP/Vista/NT(SP6) time-triggered similar
to the Unix Cron. A scheduler is one of the
most powerful services on a computer system.
You can use it to launch all kinds of programs
at defined times automatically, for example
file backup jobs with
Z-DBackup during the night and no user has
to be logged on for that.
Z-Cron can
be loaded and started using the startup function.
Status information can be sent using Microsoft
messenger service or e-mail (per SMTP).
If you are using Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP,
Vista or Server 2000, 2003 and 2008
Z-Cron
scheduler can also be installed as a system
service.
The program does not only
start other applications but can also show popup
windows with reminder text messages on the screen
or shut down the system at a certain time. The
embedded commands can be used easily by writing
the command name into the input field in the
job's setup window.

The RunAs function allows
the scheduled launching of programs with other
rights than the current logon rights.
The DYNIPMAIL function monitors
your computer's public IP-Address and sends
an e-mail if it changes. This allows an uncomplicated
administration using the Windows remote console.
All in all Z-Cron is an outstanding tool which
is also advantageous to users of the Windows
XP "Scheduled tasks". The numerous
embedded commands fullfill nearly every need;
and if not: By creating a batch file you can
replace the missing command in most cases. Batch
files are easy to adjust to your needs and very
easy to integrate into Z-Cron.
