Music On Hold
The Z-Cron commands MOH-PLAY and MOH-STOP can play Music on Hold
(MoH) for telecommunication systems.
The MOH-PLAY command plays an MP3 file on schedule. The Music on Hold Service feeds this
music/text into the telephone line while the caller is waiting.
A telecom system with MoH interface is needed to use Music on Hold.
The MoH interface is simply an audio jack (TRS connector) which feeds the waiting music into the telecom system.
This command can also be used to play music in waiting rooms. Please note that copyright laws usually apply when playing
This command stops the Music on Hold Service, e.g. so that it is switched of for the night.
In combination with the STARTREMOTE command, these commands can also be executed on a remote
computer in the local network. Z-Cron must be installed on both the target computer and the computer which issues the command.
