Z-ParSwitch :: Automatic Switching of Electrical Devices

The software Z-ParSwitch for Windows NT/2000/XP is an easy-to-use program for the switching of relay boards using the parallel port. Especially NT/2000/2003 servers which are often running permanently are suitable for the switching and controlling of various devices in your company, office, or at home.

Z-ParSwitch - Automatic switching of electrical devices

Z-ParSwitch has a graphical user interface which is very easy to use, but it can also be operated using command line parameters. With command line parameters it is possible to provide default values to the program which will be executed at the program start or to automate or schedule the switching event with a batch file or a scheduler.

Possible Applications

  • Switch on/off computer peripherals (e.g. printers or external modems for which the power supply would otherwise be turned on the whole time).
  • External warning or signaling devices.
  • Measurement equipment and laboratory devices.

Scheduler

Z-ParSwitch is an ideal extension to my Z-Cron program and can easily be configured directly in the Z-Cron program itself.
