The USB-controlled power outlet Z-USBswitch makes it possible to switch 230 V electric devices using Z-Cron scheduler.
The Z-Cron commands POWER-OFF, POWER-ON, POWER-CHANGE,
POWER-INTERVAL, POWER-SWITCH can be used to control Z-USBswitch.
The connected USB switch sockets are addressed by their serial numbers, so that many USB switch sockets can be used in
parallel on one PC.
You can use a computer with Z-Cron to control a coffee machine, ring a break bell, or switch off the light at the end of
the day. The connected electric device can stay in "on" position so that the device is switched by the USB socket.
This command switches on the USB switch socket so that the connected device gets electricity.
This command switches off the USB switch socket so that it does not supply electricity to the connected device.
This command changes the state of the USB switch socket: If it was on, it is switched off; if it was off, it is switched
The POWER-INTERVAL command can be used to switch a device on or off for a short time. The duration
can be specified in seconds.
The POWER-SWITCH command is used to control the USB swich 3-port socket. You can specify exactly
which of the three sockets is automatically switched on or off.
In combination with the STARTREMOTE command, these commands can also be executed on a remote
computer in the local network. Z-Cron must be installed on both the target computer and the computer which issues the command.
