Time-Controlled Shutdown

The Z-Cron commands SHUTDOWN, SHUTDOWN-MESSAGE and REMOTE-SHUTDOWN shut down the local computer/server or another network machine on schedule, optionally with a message that is displayed before the computer shuts down.

Time-Controlled Shutdown


This command shuts down the computer on schedule.


This command enhances the SHUTDOWN command with a feature to store a shutdown message which is then displayed to the currently logged-in user before the computer is shut down.


This command is used to shut down a computer in the local network. The target computer is specified with its computer name.
